Coach and mentor
I help people figure out what’s really going on in their work life (and beyond), and what to do about it. With honesty, patience, and plain words.
I believe people already have more answers than they think. What helps is someone to think with, to challenge them, and to help them see what’s true for them. The answers are theirs; my job is to make room for them.
So I listen more than I talk. I ask the question that’s been sitting in the room. I say what I notice, even when it’s uncomfortable. And I bring tools only when they help see further.

I don’t come with a script. I come with presence, listening, and the courage to say yes to what’s emerging.
My toolkit is diverse: I bring the right tool at the right moment
I pick the tool that fits what the person brings, and change when something else serves them better. These are some of the tools I keep practising and refining:
Solution-focused work
Starting from what already works, and building the next small step from there.
Systemic thinking
Everyone is part of a team, an organisation, a family, a market. Looking at the whole picture, the relationships and the patterns, is often where things start to move.
Imagery
Images, metaphors and drawings give shape to what someone senses before they can name it, and show the situation from a new angle.
Somatic tools
Thinking with the body: posture, movement, where one stands in the room. The body often knows before the head does.
Improv and role-play
Rehearsing the conversation, the pitch or the decision before it happens, to meet it with confidence.
Mapping and visual thinking
From my design work: sketching the situation, the people involved and the options, with the right visual model to make sense of it.
The different postures I bring: is it coaching or mentoring?
As a coach, I ask questions and people find their own answers. As a mentor, I also share and teach what I’ve learned in almost 20 years of UX design and strategy, when it’s useful. We decide together what fits, and can switch from one to the other along the way.
How my journey informs my coaching
From improv, listening, accepting what’s offered, and building on it. In my sessions, I work with what shows up.
From design, curiosity about what people really need, and the habit of making things visible: I sketch, map and prototype next steps with the people I coach.
From engineering, rigour and problem solving: breaking a tangled situation into parts one can act on.
And underneath it all, the values I stand for.
A framework you can trust: certification and ethics
I’m working towards two certifications, expected by June 2027:
- EMCC EIA, the European Individual Accreditation of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council.
- Brevet fédéral de mentor d’entreprise, the Swiss federal certificate in business mentoring.
And I follow the Global Code of Ethics for coaches and mentors, which the EMCC co-authored:
- Confidentiality. What people share with me stays confidential. When a company is involved, we agree from the start on what is reported, and to whom.
- The client’s agenda. The person I coach sets the goals and makes the decisions. My role is to serve their thinking.
- Clear agreements. Before starting, we agree on goals, rhythm, fees, and how the coaching will close.
- Supervision. I review my practice regularly with a supervisor, to keep learning and stay at my best.
- The right support. When what someone needs is therapy, medical or legal advice, I say so and help them find the right person.
